Digital Asset Tips 2026
Making Your Visuals Easy to Reuse (and resell)
Design Once, Reuse Often
You don’t need new designs every week. Now focus on creating something worth your while that may lead to more income:
Use templates instead of one-off designs
Keep consistent fonts and colors (branding)
Duplicate strong designs instead of recreating from scratch
Why this matters:
Consistency builds recognition. Reuse saves energy. Streamlined design keeps marketing simple and sustainable. Plus, if you keep the unflattened image (see previous week’s article), you can redesign templates on the fly for new projects.
Checklist:
☐ Do I have any go-to templates? Why not?
☐ Am I reusing strong layouts instead of reinventing them?
☐ Do my designs look visually related? Although I use the same fonts and colors, I should know enough about my craft (!) to create new “looks” through categorization.
Try This (5-Minute Action):
Duplicate a previous design and adjust the text for a new post, rather than creating something new.
