✅Week 7: Digital Image Declutter
If your phone or computer is full of random screenshots, duplicates, memes, and old images you’ll never use, you’re not alone. A quick image cleanup can free up space and your mental clarity. Since tomorrow’s a holiday for many of us, it might be a good time to give the following list a shot…
Try this:
☐ Delete duplicates and blurry shots.
☐ Make albums for your favorite memories. Simple names, such as “head shots”, “family”, “memes”, or “black and whites” can provide slots for your shots.
☐ Back up the important albums to a cloud or external drive (I often make the albums in the external drive and drop the images in that way).
☐ Empty the trash/recycle bin when you’re done to provide maximum space.
☐ Set a reminder to repeat this once a month so you won’t be so bogged down the next time.
✨ Bonus Tip: Create a digital “Family Album” folder for genealogy or storytelling projects. Future you will thank you for being so farsighted.
