✅ Week 8: Explainer – What Counts as a Digital Asset?
I want to return to the basics this week, because next week I’m going to ask a very important question. Let’s clear the dried kitty snot off the computer screen and define digital assets again: a digital asset is anything you own online that has value—whether it makes money now or could make money later.
Examples:
A blog you’ve nurtured
A Canva template you designed
A domain name you’ve held for years
A social media page with an audience
I’m sure you can think of additional digital assets, such as photography, videos, and music. Think of it all as digital real estate. You may not be able to “touch” it, but it’s worth something—and with the proper care, it can grow in value.
💡 If you’ve created something online—even just a few helpful blog posts—you’ve already started your digital asset journey. Questions? Ask away now…
